A Paint and Sip Experience for Children and Young Teens

In a unique blend of art and for the love of BEES, Gardening and Beats, Station 3510 and Diaspora Honey proudly present The Organic Canvas: Farm-to-Frame, Paint and Sip: I LOVE BEES Edition This a one-of-a-kind event specifically designed for children ages 5 to 14 is an innovative art experience that allows young artists to explore their creativity by using vegetables and fruits to create BEES prints on canvas.

This is more than just an art event; it's an immersive encounter that bridges the gap between nature and art. Children can use the vibrant colors and textures of farm and garden produce to craft their personal masterpieces. This hands-on approach nurtures their artistic skills and deepens their connection with the environment in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner, offering a delightful journey from palette to palate.

What to Expect:
PAINTING SESSION, participants will unleash their creativity on canvases inspired by the beauty of BEES and organic farming with support from New Brooklyn Farm

Participants will also get a chance to interactive with A LIVE Glass Observation Beehive (no bee-suit required).

They will also the learn the benefits of BEES and why they are important to all and nature and to our food system.

Healthy Demonstration: Honey Tasting and Honey Bottling (all young participants will get a jar of honey to take honey and of course we will have HONEY for sale!)

Get there early to witness the Unveiling of The Breath of Contrast: Healthy vs. Smoker's Lung Art Installation (a special art project by young people from DMV area to stop young from smoking and take back their health produced in conjunction with the POET Life & AATCLC

Host KIMANI Anku will delight the young participants
with a specially crafted Kid’s MOCKTAIL: THE STING.

Whether you're a beginner or have some painting experience, this event is perfect for your young child and/or teen who loves art, fascinated by bees and wants to learn more about them.
